How we handle your data. Last updated: June 2026

This page is maintained by Fintex Markets to explain what personal data we collect when you use the trading platform, why we collect it, and the controls available to you.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, country, display name.
  • KYC documents: government ID and proof of address, stored in private storage.
  • Trading data: orders, fills, positions, balances, and ledger entries.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and usage logs for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

  • To operate the Service: authenticate you, settle trades, and post to your ledger.
  • To meet legal obligations: KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, regulatory reporting.
  • To improve the Service: aggregated analytics on usage and performance.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share with processors (cloud hosting, identity verification, email delivery) under contract, and with authorities when legally required.

Retention

Trading and KYC records are retained for the period required by financial regulation (typically 5–7 years after account closure). Other data is retained only as long as needed.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting compliance. Some data may be retained where law requires.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect compromise, contact us immediately.
